Our apartment is located in a historic structure that was constructed right on top of 1st-century Roman remains that can be seen from the bottom floor.

The Neighbourhood – Ciutat Vella

The oldest area in Barcelona, Ciutat Vella, encompasses the entire historic centre of the city. There are medieval ruins, Roman-era structures, and all of the necessary modern amenities, such as numerous international and local stores, bars, and restaurants. Ciutat Vella is positioned between Plaza Catalunya and the sea in the heart of Barcelona. This jumbled group of narrow, historic alleyways will be instantly recognized on any city map. This neighbourhood is also the birthplace of the famed Ramblas.El Barri Gotic or the Gothic Quarter of Barcelona is a great place to live and stay when in Barcelona: from here you can enjoy the city’s main sights; in this area, numerous tourists perfectly fuse with the local crowd that lives and works in the neighbourhood.

This neighbourhood is the city’s oldest and most historic district. Also visible from the ground level are the historical relics of the Roman heritage, on which our apartment is built. The Gothic neighbourhood has its origins in the initial founding, with Roman walls from that period still remaining as part of the Barcelona Cathedral, which is only a few steps away from our Spacious 2 Bed Apartment.
